Public Transportation

Since the Horse Drawn Railroad started in 1886, transportation services have been available to Nashua’s residents and visitors. Today, Nashua Transit System buses and vans travel 1,870 miles a day on routes that cover the city.

Citybus is the daytime fixed route service, running on seven different routes. After 7 runs in the evening, along three routes. City Lift offers service to senior citizens and passengers with physical disabilities, running on the same routes as Citybus, as well as additional service areas.

All NTS buses and trolleys are equipped with bike racks.  Click here for route maps and schedules.
