NASHUA SOLID WASTE DEPARTMENT
THANKSGIVING COLLECTION SCHEDULE

The Division of Public Works, Solid Waste Department will follow the normal schedule for the curbside collection of recycling, soft yard wastes and trash from Monday November 23rd through Wednesday the 25th.

The Solid Waste Department will be closed to celebrate Thanksgiving on Thursday November 26th, and will resume operations the next day. On Friday, the 27th, the Thursday routes will be picked up, and on Saturday November 28th, the regular Friday routes will be picked up.

The last day for the pickup of soft yard waste will be Saturday November 28. Residents are asked to keep at least 3 feet between the trash cart and any obstacle, and to place all trash in bags inside the cart; no extra bags will taken.

The last day for the extended weekend hours at the Four Hills Landfill will be Saturday November 28th. Residents may drop off yard wastes, trash and recyclables, BUT NOT CONSTRUCTION AND DEMOLITION DEBRIS, during the extended hours – between 1 and 4pm on Saturday. A residential permit will be required, and NO commercial customers will be allowed to use the facility during the extended hours.
